Heck yeah, bro! I can totally imagine hearing this at a live event. :D

F-777 responds:

Thanks man! ya it's def a "music festivaly" track. Like its not best played at home for example kinda its made for the live scene but i tried my best to make it awesome listening at home too (well thats where i listen to everything so)

I like what you did here, but this still isn't a remix. If anything, it's an "alteration" or in this case an "3qualizer" version. The effects were cool and all and I may actually try some of those in my mashups (so thank you for that idea ;)), but besides that, this is still the same song. A remix means using the same, or similar, melodies of a song, making new synths with them, and then adding in your own twist. If you need ideas, just look at what other people have done for remixes.

Gdequalizer responds:

Thank You for your opinion i still don't have a proper song editing software :(
will you please recommend a song editing software

thank you

Uh, no, this is not a remix. I know exactly what you did: you took the original song, pitched it up, and then added a few filtering effects here and there to make it sound different from the original.

Gdequalizer responds:

thank u for the feedback i made another version plz listen
also i use wavepad sound editor
can u give me some advice plz thank you

This isn't all that bad, to be honest. It's definitely better than your previous one and the notes were in the right key for the most part. I don't think, however, that using a repeated kick drum in place of a sub-bass is a good idea because it doesn't really work all that well. Overall, not bad. It definitely fits the title. :)

Stardust-Nation responds:

That's good to hear. I actually played this to my friend IRL, and he said it was pretty good as well (he's generally a harsh critic). As for the kick drum bassline: I agree. That was stupid of me. It sounds okay without headphones, but with headphones it just sounds obnoxious. Glad you enjoyed!

It's not all that great, sadly. It started off pretty well, but then some of the notes went out of pitch and the synths started sounding kinda strange. There's definitely room for improvement here, but you got some interesting ideas.

Stardust-Nation responds:

Thanks! To address your biggest concerns: 1) The synths definitely sound weird to me too. That's because there were a lot of layers to balance and it's very hard to get multiple "instruments" in Caustic to sound nice together. That, and I'm also pretty bad at the fine-tuning aspect of music-making. 2) The notes sound like they're in the wrong key because they most certainly are. I dun goofed when looking for the notes (to make my remixes I generally start by looking for online sheet music to serve as a general frame for the project) and used a cover that was written in bass clef. Unfortunately, I misread it and thought it was in treble. I was 90% done by the time I realized my mistake, and it was too late to fix it without scrapping the whole thing. But I appreciate the thorough review!

This is awesome! :D
Do you think you could PM me some tips to making something like this?

blackhole666 responds:

ok :)

While it's not exactly a "remix", I will say that this is a nice cover/rendition of the original song. :)

Force64 responds:

Ah ok , thanks for your comment ;)

Very cool, might even use for a level. My only issue is the long intro. :\

Budderw0rrior3 responds:

Sorry for the inconvenience :/

Man, this is cool. Mind if I use it in a megamix? ;)

DjAbbic responds:

Sure go ahead, glad you like it :)

Really cool. Wasn't much of a fan of that drop at 3:26's drop, but otherwise a really good piece. If you don't mind, I'll be saving this for my New Year GD Megamix. ;)

TheArdor responds:

Thanks :3
